For Sale Canon 50mm F1.8 for Leica Thread Mount Rangefinders - Excellent Condition

I am selling a Canon 50mm F1.8 lens for Leica thread mount rangefinders. This is the late production black version of this lens which has a well deserved reputation as a great shooter particularly for the modest price (by rangefinder lens standards).

The lens is in excellent condition. The glass is clear, clean and problem-free. The mechanical motions are smooth. There is a tiny bit of oil on the tips of the iris blades (which impacts nothing and helps them stay free of rust in the future). Sold as shown with original front cap and new aftermarket rear cap.

I would urge anyone interested to snap this up: the lens is terrific, still the best bargain in LTM lenses (aside from Jupiter 8 perhaps but these are not as reliably good). And the prices for these are creeping up up up as word gets around. Two years ago you could get one in good shape for less than $200. Now I've seen them go for well over 300....
