Canon 4400F scanner help!!!

I have problem to import scanned black & white film photo into Picasa from Canon 4400F. As after preview the image does not tranfer to another screen before you can import into Picada? Any solution? Just a note, it is perfectly fine if I scanned colour film using the "basic format". Thanks.

I always scan my B&W negs as colour transparencies then convert in PS. Doing that might help since scanning in colour seems to work for you.

scan into software like photoshop (or even irfanview) and save as jpg or tiff ... then import into picassa
