A co-worker brought in his T70 for me to look at and see if I could help him get it to work.
He reported that he loaded batteries AA lithium the loaded a roll of film. He wants to make sure it is working before going on vacation this summer (smart guy!). After about 7 frames the camera locked up.
When he brought it in the LCD display shows nothing. The command back also has nothing showing. Pressing some button we hear a low tone series of beeps.
I don't know enough about this camera to start... I did tell him to replace the 2025 for the command back and to get ni-cad batteries in before going any further.
One specification sheet that I printed said something about a "memory" battery that should "last" about 5 years. Is this something the user can replace? Where is it?
Any help to keep analog photography going with the guy will be appreciated.

Just ordinary Duracell AA batteries will do for the t70 and T90..the internal battery can only be replaced by someone qualified, but no one bothers as all it does is remember settings if you change the AA batteries.
Other than cleaning the battery terminals there is not much you can do if it doesn't power up.
