OK received camera, 52 yrs ago I worked 2 days for my uncle for $10 and bought mt 1st camera. A plastic fixed focus camera that took 127 film and had a plug in flash that took m8 flash bulbs. This camera reminds me of it. I've seen these cameras in travel centers, usually with a sounds like name, ie niken, pintax, olypia, etc. 1st time I've seen one with a real name Canon on it. Already planned on dumping it. If anyone out there collects thes, they can have it for the price of shipping, or it's into the trash bin.

Yeah I remember I had a similar quality 'fake' camera when I was a kid. Something like order a subscription to time magazine and get this high-quality 35mm camera worth hundreds.
Plastic look-alike junk with a f8 plastic fixed-focus lens and a viewfinder made to mimic a prism.

There should be a landfill tax on products designed to go in the trash.

When I first heard the name cause I always thought I knew Canons equipment, I found 1 where a guy would give the camera away. From what I have found it is used for door stops etc. A person used it to hold up his desk when it broke a leg off. so maybe in 50-100 yrs it might be good to own one but nothing special at this time.
