here as I found:

June 1960 - October 1981,
total of 82,800 pieces
Serials:
2,8F-2.400.000 - 2,8F-2.442.133

Xenotar 2,8/80mm, Schneider (from 1973),

The serial numbers started at 2,400,000. So being #2,401,183 is pretty early in its production run. Xenotar lenses are not as common as Planar versions from 1960-64. Xenotars were discontinued in 1964 and reintroduced in 1973. So its a 1960 2.8f Xenotar.
