Browsing on my local Facebook Marketplace, I found this:

Seems like a specialized gadget. There seems to be some bulbs attached to the front. Probably some dental/mediical camera?

The body looks very early-postwar German 35mm SLR. At first I thought some kind of hybrid of Pentacon types, but after a little browsing through other German SLR makers, which I have little direct experience with, I think the body is an Edixa Reflex. See http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Edixa_Reflex
and the pictures of the type S and Ba, for example. The rewind knob is missing, obviously.

It's definitely been customized into that configuration. It's probably the only one of its kind. If you use it, don't get it wet...

It's definitely for a dedicated purpose, like mug shots or copying something. Can't exactly see what the lens is. It looks like you focus it by moving it backward and forward in that slot.

It's interesting but probably useless.

Definitely an Edixa Reflex.

There's an absolutely stupendous amount of different models. Maybe someone can puzzle it out with the help of this website here:

It's probably a cheaper modell because there are no slow shutter speeds. Hard to see but it has the modern speeds (i.e. 1/125 instead of 1/100) and the highest speed is 1/1000, the film counter looks like the later 1960s models too. Maybe someone used parts from different models. Who knows.
