Based on its initial location, I'm guessing that it originated from an iPhone.
Trying to fix this entirely manually is virtually impossible without leaving quite visible traces of the manipulation.
Content aware tools make the removal of 80% of the problem easy, but of course the final 20% will take some time that I don't have.
Actually it looks quite manageable to me, but it definitely needs some advanced retouching skills and quite a bit of time.
I’m sorry in advance if this isn’t allowed. This is my first post on this forum. I’m trying to see if someone can help me by editing a picture to clean up an area on my dad’s pants. The lighting made some strange reflection on it for some reason.

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Content aware tools make the removal of 80% of the problem easy, but of course the final 20% will take some time that I don't have. As you can see the color of the fabric has been changed due to the flare and that would need some work to correct if your aim is perfection. But if the goal is simply to remove the distraction so the focus is on the faces this might be enough and I'll be happy to email you the full resolution version of this one.
The easiest option, assuming you're not married to showing the ceiling and floor, is to simply crop the image to a horizontal format.
Hey I see a pacifier on the floor. ;-)
No problem at all. Try starting a conversation with me and you can share your email there privately. Hover over my name and the options should show up.Thank you very much ! That looks fantastic. I really appreciate it a lot. I had worked for an entire day trying to do that and I couldn’t get anywhere near that good. The last time I put my email on here the post was edited. I don’t want to upset anyone and get banned lol. How can I give you my email address for the full resolution picture ?
@warden - you will need to start the Conversation with @Colin09 , who can then respond.
@Colin09 has too few posts to have "Conversation" privileges (yet).
Reach out to us for further help if you need it.
And just to expand on the note already shared with @Colin09 , we won't ban someone for naively publicly posting their own email address, but we will delete the email address from the public forums, because the bad faith harvesters that are out there love to grab them and cause the poster all sorts of problems.
