Can Pentax 6X7 LS lenses be used on 645 in LS mode?

If I get the adapter to use 6x7 lenses on the Pentax 645, can leaf shutter lenses be used in leaf shutter mode?

My 90LS works on my 645- no problem because the original Pentax adapter transmits the aperture closing function
