Flexi color does an amazing job with my color rolls. Can I use it on my black and white film too? Is it archival? Is it at effective on B&W film as it is on color film?

Sure you can. It's way more expensive than LFN or PhotoFlo. The color final rinse either Kodak or Fuji (EU formulation) contains miconazole, a commonly used anti-microbial. This is used as an anti fungal for a myriad of applications. It will keep the bugs from eating the gelatin. Though with silver present in black and white, this isn't so much of a problem as with color.
