Can I use f3.5 sun shade on f2 lenses (50mm Leitz)?

I got myself sun shade for LTM elmar 5cm f3.5, can I use this as well on Summar f2 lens?
Also ITOOY for Elmar M mount, can I use it on DR Summicron? The filter thread is the same, 39mm, but does bigger f stop need to have different (wider) sun shade?

I can't speak authoritatively on the M-mount stuff but the FICUS(?) shade in the second pic works fine on my Summar 50/2.
I use that adjustable shade on the 90 and 135 as well.

No problem. The funny thing is that my Summar filter will not fit my Summar lens when fitted with a non Leitz filter.

While I'm not a Leica owner, I would imagine that the two 50mm lenses in question would both have the same angular field of view, thus the shade should be fine for either, assuming that it can be mounted to either. I have a Canon P, a lovely LTM "box," and its 50mm f1.8 and 35mm f2. Canon's lens shade is stated suitable for both lenses; I have that shade making its way to me from Japan. We'll see....

I have a number of lens hoods for 50mm, Miranda, Konica, and Minolta, all say 50mm 1.7 or 1.4, as the angle of view is the same for any 35mm film camera 50mm lens, the difference would be the size of the lens thread. I have Miranda, 57mm with 49mm and 52mm thread. For that matter I have used a 50mm lens hood on a 105mm not optimum but in a pinch will work. And a few lens like the Minolta 57 1,7 in A mount have built in lens shade as do some Mirandas.

The only thing I could see as being a problem would be if one lens had a deeply inset front element, and the other had a front element close to the filter threads.
I don't ever recall seeing a 50mm "standard" lens (for 135 film) with a deeply inset front element, but I believe that the 80mm macro for my Mamiya 645 does.

Thanks once more for feedback guys. I was surprised how deep this sun shade is, for 50mm lens. It is more than 3cm deep, longer than the lens itself

Looking at it, it is really deep not sure if it will work, may cut off the corners. Shoot a roll and find out.

50's require a long, deep shade, so it may not be a problem.

I did a test roll -- all is OK! Deep shade is ok for 50mm. It would be strange in any case that original Leitz sun shade does not fit to its dedicated lens.
Also I did a test of cheap Chinese 2 euros sun shade for 39mm M mount Elmar (similar depth, little shorter), and it is also ok:
