My current go-to is 15 minutes face down in a tray of water, and then 15 minutes with flowing water.

I'm wondering if I could do multiples by using several trays for the face down portion, and then using a versalab or something similar.

Thoughts and ideas?

Thank you,

Jim Benson.

Should work fine, but are you using the New Cyanotype chemistry or classic Cyanotype? With the latter, the image tends to partly wash off with longer washing times. AFAIK cyanotypes don't need very extensive washing (at least mine have fared very well with just a few minutes of washing in trays).

Using the old process, (I assume Bosstick and Sullivans formula is the old one), I have had good luck with rinsing the print off under the tap. Usually 20-30 seconds is enough. I have some that were done that way 15 years ago and they are fine. I dry them between paper towels.

Yeah, I've done that. You have the be careful about water pressure though. If it gets too high, it can wash off the emulsion on the side the water enters. Also, you'll need to thoroughly clean the print washer when done.
