Hello there, I have 1981 and 1996 Beyond The Zone System books but due to language barrier , I have found there is another way needed. I have windows 10 and I want to experiment with software. If there is no windows , is there for later iphones ? Can I download a database for kentmere and ilfosol pretested , can I learn BTZS from apps and finally apply to exposure, development and printing step by step?
The View Camera Store has videos that cover BTZS, due to import regulations not sure if they can be imported to your country. You can email to owner for answers. Here is link.
This two hour DVD video covers the important points of the Beyond The Zone System method. When you are done, you'll be able to characterize paper, film and have a firm understanding on what effects are really gained with one film or developer over another. The video is invaluable to both the...
I don't think there's a multilingual app that guides you through BTZS specifically, no.
You could consider looking for someone who is willing to teach you in person, and/or a workshop of some sort in your country. However, I imagine the odds of finding someone/something suitable are very slim given the small niche we're talking about.
You could give it a try with the videos mentioned by @Paul Howell and then maybe try and automatically create transcripts from those and translating them to Turkish. Or if the DVD's feature subtitles, extract those and translate them.
Honestly talking , I dont need btzs turkish app , if you can manage a pc for 30 years with foreign softwares , I can do the same with btzs apps. I found that I can use exp dev application with pretested film developer data - I am not sure now about apps exact content -
As I posted there is a set of CDs and workbooks that covers BTZS, the person Fred Newman, who developed the CDs and workbooks taught BTZS at a local community college when the college had a darkroom. I just don't know if the sell and mail to Turkey. He might be willing to set up a Zoom session, will be pricey.
I think your right rereading OP post seems that he is looking for both. I should have mentioned that from my reading of Davis's book BTZS is only set up for sheet film. He states that other than learning about determining EI for a particular film he sees no reason to learn for roll film. But saying that The View Camera Store will test roll film using BTSZ methods.
