It's a vertical process camera by Nu-Arc, used in small print shops before everything went computer-to-plate.

Now be fair - in the UK, where he is, twenty thousand is indeed written as "20.000"

It most certainly is not. Twenty thousand is written 20,000

20.000 is just 20 in the UK but I think it would read as twenty thousand in France and possibly most of the rest of Europe.

Sorry, I thought all of Europe switched the commas and decimals... that must be really confusing when dealing between the UK and the rest of Europe! (They already know we here in the US are weird...)

Yeah, we use the English system of measurement and the English don't!

You'd be pretty amazed at what you can do with a process camera (aka stat camera) like that. You can use it to shoot super cool ULF tableaux, print all kinds of alt-process stuff... it's a camera and enlarger in one. It has limitations for sure. But therein lies the doorway to true creativity!

The lens in that thing is probably worth triple the asking price. then there's the lights and other sundry parts for contact printer, bellows for ULF camera, vacuum back for outragiously huge vac easel, and so on...
I dismantled an old Kenro just for those reasons.
