Started a project using my leftover Ilford Gallerie #3 Matte paper. Problem is that I was back in B+H today and it is no more. Does anyone have any that they would be willing to part with? Anyone have a lead on this ? What is the name of the camera store in Chicago? Is it Central Camera? Yikes-it's getting harder and harder to do projects. Tommorrow I'll start checking all the majors.
Thanks, Peter

I think B&H may be the only ones that do not have it.
Central Camera is in Chicago. They've a web site and a
lot of Graded Paper.
On the West Coast there is Freestyle. Also a web site.
Perhaps a VC developer such as Beer's or A. Adams'
Ansco 130 would help. Dan

Well I kinda answered my own question. All the biggies are out of the paper. I bought the last 150 sheets from Freestyle this morning. Just shot off a PM to Simon Galley to confirm the future status but would certainly appreciate a heads up from him when they are going to do this....

Peter, is it just the matte finish that they are out of? I would like to try it but if they are going to discontinue....

John-Gallerie is being continued in Grades 2+3 glossy only. Do not take my word for it as I would like Mr. Galley to comment on this for the record. Gallery is still a beautiful paper and you should try it. By using Edwal Ultra Black you get an extra 1/2 grade therefore going up to a grade 3.5

I may be wrong but I believe there is some on Ebay.

I once ordered from Adorama because B&H was out. Adorama sent (4 weeks later) some bent up paper and then another 4 weeks later sent replacement paper - 8 weeks lead time to get paper that I would have had in 1 or 2 weeks if I had ordered it from B&H. B&H is honest about what is on the shelf - many vendors show product they do not have and you get to find out after they have your money. In my experience, if you order it from B&H - they will get it really fast!! - They have repeatedly earned my business.

Fhovie- if you go back to my original post I explained that I was actually in B+H earlier this week. B+H is definately out of this paper and so is Central Camera and so is Freestyle. I just got a box off of Epay for a great price. Now have 250 sheets so I'm all set and then I'll just move on because this is the present nature of the photo biz right now. There are still some good choices and like Mr. Weston once said-"he could print on a bathroom mat." There is absolutely no sense in being sentimental about materials. Move on-there is Art to be made!!
Best, Peter
I do appreciate all the input though...thanks
