I was wondering since some wet plate portrait photographers use a ton of flash to iluminate their wet plate portraits, can repeated firings from an electronic flash at close range be used to expose cyanotypes? I guess I could just try but if someone has already tries to reinvent this wheel it is probably worth jus asking.

You could try a sun/tanning lamp. Cyanotype paper is rather insensitive and you need quite a bit of UV radiation of the proper wavelenth.
