I was wondering since some wet plate portrait photographers use a ton of flash to iluminate their wet plate portraits, can repeated firings from an electronic flash at close range be used to expose cyanotypes? I guess I could just try but if someone has already tries to reinvent this wheel it is probably worth jus asking.

You need UV light for the exposure, and loads of it as the sensitizer is about a thousand times less sensitive than modern silver emulsion. Wet plate doesn't rely on UV light for exposure.
You can use an inexpensive quartz-halogen flood light or get one of these

You could try a sun/tanning lamp. Cyanotype paper is rather insensitive and you need quite a bit of UV radiation of the proper wavelenth.
