Hello,

Anyone has any buying experience from camerawest, they are located in palm spring California. I mean any good or bad experience, any input on their rating system, is their rating comparable to that of keh. Any input would be a lot of help.

Yes, I've bought a couple of used lenses from them (some years ago though). I found them to be professional and courteous. The Summar they sold me was the cleanest I've ever seen. They even went and found it for me before I bought it, shined a light in it to ck for fungus or haze, etc. I would say their rating is similar to KEH, and unlike KEH they are usually able to put their hands on the gear and let you know exactly what you're buying. National Camera Exchange is also a great place to buy. I love KEH, but they don't have the items in front of them when you call, you just have to hope the descriptions are accurate. No trouble if you need a return though.

I have not bought anything from them although I have been in their store several times. The have wonderful cameras and other items for sale and the staff is quite professional.

I got a great deal on my LPL 4550 XLG enlarger from them, probably one of my all time best buying decisions, they were great to deal with. They currently have an Apollo Program Hasselblad for sale, pretty amazing collectable, check it out...
