Want to Buy Camera Stand / Salon / Studio Stand

Trader history for Despite_it_all (5)

I would seriously take a look at Studio Titan's offerings. I have one, it is as sturdy as I need for medium format and a small 4x5. They have larger models, too. Less than half the price of a FOBA or Cambo, plus free shipping.

I appreciate the lead on other option and, for the record, I don't have a problem with Studio Titan as a brand. My budget is about $1,000 at the very maximum and at that price, a new model isn't super compelling. Free shipping or not.
Going used will take me quite a bit further for any of these three mentioned brands.

This is said because I am the guy who started this thread, has been looking for a stand for a year and can't get one. You saw this post, decided, "eh, why not take a look on CL for a stand", then not only find one immediately on a whim, but get it for nearly what I would consider, free. Plus, you got a geared head with it! A geared head is upper level equipment and isn't cheap, no matter which one you get. So, that is what makes this insult to injury (for me).

Does this make sense?

Sorry about the misunderstanding. I figured out the comment shortly after posting the”?” and tried to delete the post- but couldn’t figure out how. I thought I edited it to the “.”, but created another post!
Anyway, not important. What was helpful to me was after years of trying to find one at a reasonable cost this thread renewed my curiosity and I found one!

Igot one locally for a mere $100 from a small studio closing down. They are a pleasure to use. Keep looking and trying.

Thanks for the lead!
If I had Facebook, I'd check it out. Though, the Bay Area is a bit far of a trip from my location (9 hours, one way). I feel like a more extreme Northern California might be about the extent I'm willing to travel outside of Oregon.
