More of the gear exodus in progress here.
This is a black Nikon F that has always had intentional brassing as long as I can remember. Sorry if that isn't your thing.
However, the shutter speeds sound spot on. Super consistent. The one second setting sounds perfect. Matches the one on my CLA'd Nikon SP from last year. Last time I used this camera, it worked like a dream. I recall the meter did work, but I don't have a second battery to toss in it to test it now, so can't vouch if the meter still works or not.
The Nikkor 50mm lens is very clean. Some internal dust, but nothing that would impact images. Very nice glass. Not to mention, if you are a fan of the
http://www.photosynthesis.co.nz/nikon/serialno.html website that catalogs serial numbers along with the earliest recorded serial number of each lens, this particular lens it the earliest recorded version of it. I included a screen shot from the website showing this as well. Doesn't really mean much, but hey, at least you can brag...lol.
The DL-1 works great. I do have a battery for it, as it only takes one.
Also included is a really slick, very early Nikon F brochure. Not to mention the handy dandy Nikon stand as well.
Mechanically, this camera is a beast. Shutter is strong, glass is good, and really a nice shooter. As stated, not sure on the meter now.
The only thing NOT included with the camera is the shutter release button. Pretty sure it's a harder to find item that I'm planning on keeping for now.
Pricing was a bit hard for me to figure out, so don't bust my chops if I'm way off.
