It's happening on August 13th, 2016 at the Jackson Armory
. I am hoping to make this an annual event in Portland. (Future shows may be held at the slightly smaller, but nicer, venue of Cleaver Armory in Portland. Cleaver is unavailable in 2016 due to renovations.)

I have confirmed the hall for August 13th, 2016 in Portland for our camera show. Our website www.photofair.com has information on pricing and the general theme of PhotoFair.

Please check the website regarding table rental and for the latest news about the show and any last minute changes.

Thanks,
Rod Sager

Good to see the swap meet returning to that venue.

Also, August is good - nicely placed between the PSPCS meets.

I'm probably going to stay north this year. Supposed to meet a friend at a licensing agency to transfer the title belonging to his old Volvo over into my name. I should be a bit more free next year to do it.

Overall, a good show. A bit small compared to decades ago, but the quality was good.

I bought two cameras and some hard-to-find but much-needed accessories.

It was definitely worth the trip.

Cool... Similar in size to the PSPCS show, or?

-J

No, maybe one fourth the size of the current PSPCS show. However, the quality of what people brought was good to excellent. Yes, there were some low end cameras there, as you find everywhere. Overall, a nice variety. I had to force myself not to buy more than what I did.

The hot Saturday weather may have reduced attendance. It was about 95F outside and maybe ~80F inside. People may not have stayed too long, though I got there at 10:15 and stayed around chatting till 1:15. People were still arriving when I left.
