... First time working behind a table, but will be the sixth time that I've been there.
Maybe 10 or more years ago, I went there with a car-club friend (RIP, Don) to help set up his table. This was when the show was in Puyallup and filled the entire ground floor of the Convention Center - there was an amazing variety of photo equipment there in those days.
Anyway, on the Friday evening before the next day's show, other sellers were coming over to buy stuff from my friend even as he was still unpacking. Clearly, that was the very best time to view what was available.
For the many times I arrived on the day of the show, I did develop a strategy on how best to scan the aisles: make one quick overall pass and note things of interest for later (but be prepared to buy a good/rare deal immediately) and then make slower passes through the show.
