Camera repair in GTA

Hello, my Yashica mat needs some repair. Is there any good repair shop for cameras around GTA?

I took mine into Downtown Camera (Queen Street East) and they gave me the name of a guy who repairs them. I don't have that info handy, but I suggest you check with them.

I have used Roger at CAMTECH in Hamilton and he did a great job repairing some damage on an old brass Cooke Portrait lens.

Talking to other people, he is highly recommended.

Third on the recommendation of Camtech. I've brought my Yashica-12 and Rolleiflex 2.8F to him for CLA and repair work.

I knew he was good when he cradled both the Yashica and the Rollei. Fair prices also, plus a good selection of used gear and film!

Thanks for recommending Camtech.

After corresponding by email with a local camera repair service, I showed up only to find the place closed 1 hour before the posted closing time. I left a phone message at the number on the door but did not receive a call back.

As luck would have it, I found this recommendation and just happened to be visiting someone in Hamilton that weekend, so I dropped off my lens and was quoted less than half of what I was quoted by the local place.

I just received the repaired lens, less than 2 weeks after I dropped it off, at the price quoted. Excellent service!
