Camera or the Square

I'm not sure whether I'm loving the Holga camera more or the square format.

The only thing I didn't like about this shot was her eyes were a little much to the right (her right) and the nose shadow is a little long for me.

But other than that, I'm have a lot of fun with the Holga.

Holgas are great.

I think square is great all by itself. I find myself framing square in my RB a lot.

The Holgas lens effects add a lot too.

The best thing about the Holga though is the lack of distraction; drop in some fast negative film, focus roughly, point, and shoot. No reason to think about being super accurate, just have fun.

Yeah, I do like working with the limitations. You don't have much to choose from which is sometimes a blessing.
