Time has flown, and the next market at Box Hill Town Hall is just over a week away. Doors open 9AM, entry is $5.

I won't be selling gear, although I have offered to help a friend on his table. And I'm not looking to buy anything...but if something comes up.....

Cheers

Andrew

I got a few nice things....a really nice Grafles roll film back from a 1/4 plate Graflex SLR that has been modified to take 120. The film holders on both ends have been custom made and are all spring loaded - the nices job I've ever seen..

Also got a few books including David Goldblatt's book on South African miners in the 70's and the Aperture book on Eric Salomon, and for the darkroom some Patterson film clips (maybe not that exciting, but when I got a jugfull (say 20) for $10..and it included the jug..) I couldn't say no. Using these will double the capacity of my drying cabinet...

I also saw a couple of very interesting accessory shutters for large format cameras. You know the kind - like the ones on 1880's Thornton Pickard cameras. Pull a string at the bottom to set the shutter, then fire using a cable release. Only thing is there were huge - they could have accomodated a lens of 4 or even 5 inches in diameter! And there were 2 of them!

Spoke to a few people who were happy with their purchases - the usual assortment of the good, the bad and the in beween with prices to match...

It was fun - can't wait for the one next March...
