They're called Dubble films (www.dubblefilm.com) and appear to be gimmicky effects films in the Lomography vein. The site gives very brief info on each film (there're 5 different ones), so I'm just wondering if anyone else has heard of them, or even better, used them, and what are your views on them? Unfortunately they only seen to be available in 35mm so I wouldn't be able to try them, but still interested in hearing anything anyone can tell me about them.

I am not interested in film that provides pseudo light leaks.

I've found it interesting to try various esoteric films, such as Cinestill, Svema, Rollei Digibase, Kodak Hawkeye, etc., but this line does not particularly interest me. Seems too much like the line where they have things like pre-exposed hearts on the film stock. (I forget which brand that is.)

CineStill is nothing but packaged ECN2 film with remjet removed. As for Svema it could be anything they were able to find cheap. Expired film often.

From the replies so far it sounds as if no-one else had seen these but this in only reply 8. The shop may be unable to say much about them and even less about other's experiences but it might be worth asking if any customer has come back with a report.

Where is your stockist? I found 3 U.K. stockists in Bristol, Brighton and Amersham but no real info on the films origins etc. At all 3 the price was £10 or slightly more per film so it certainly is not cheap

I have made my mind up about this film without trying it but as this is largely irrelevant to your thread I won't give an opinion

I did a little digging with Google and it seems like a couple of their current lineup of films have been around for 4 or 5 years. The shop I saw them in was Perfect Pictures in Penzance.

I can't help with your thread's query, but this reference compels that I ask:
"Do they show pictures of pirates?"

In 2017 Fotoimpex took into their program pre-exposed films of the brand "Kono!" .
Today these "Dubblefilm" films are still listed at them under "Kono!"

In addtion there is a brand "Yodika" with preexposed films.

Thus there are at least three brands with preexposed films on the market now. Revolog, Kono!/Dubblefilm and Yodika.
