The lens arrived Thursday, and it is now mounted to a lens board. I tried it out yesterday, and my fears were groundless. As Jim stated, there is plenty of coverage--2-3/4" of front rise. My old Empire State 11x14 has no front swings and no shift, so there is no way I can run out of coverage at wide open with this baby.
I will say that there is a lot of glass! It's a heavy lens with a Grandagon/S.A. wasp waist. The front element completely obscures the Copal #3 shutter. My lensboards are 6-1/4 x 6-1/4 so there's room. Don't try this on a 4 in. board! Filters are 122E, which I found new and in stock on B&H's website.
Can't wait to get out and burn the Efke with this one.
