I acquired an Xrite 801 and it did not include any calibration cards.
I will be using this mainly with B&W film and likely some B&W prints from time to time.
I purchased some step wedges from Stouffer for both Transmission and Reflective calibration. The issue for me is the calibration process. Following the directions to do the transmission calibration I read the step wedge, then it proceeds to ask for the three color densities (RGB) which I do not have this information.
To me, it sounds like I am calibrating in color but I have not found anything to go with B&W. I do have a color reflective step wedge, but the color data is for CMYK.
Thoughts?
