Years ago I had to manually update the calendars to reflect the correct dates starting on Jan 1. As time went by they made it roll over automatically on Jan 1 with the correct new calendar dates.
Until your message I was unaware that the customer could choose the given start date now making the process even more flexible for purchases year around instead of just the annual date of Jan 1.

I've never bought a calendar in December to use starting January. I always have bought them with a purpose in mind. Last time it was a 2022 star wars for kids calendar for a friend. I never met up with the friend and the calendar is still sitting in my pantry.
