Caffenol-C tragedy

My post on building a house was not ment to be OT but an illistration of what can happen when sticking religiously to an ideal. The majority of what I have read give measures as a guide and not a precise regimen ment to addhear to with no tolerance for creativity. Not that I am saying that isn't good but it does not have to be for everyone. I will take all the advice I have gotten and use it in one form or another. John, you must do what you feel is best for you but I will be pestering you from time to time.

Boys, boys... you're both pretty...
now go take some pictures.

i won't be posting much joel, i have negatives to process and prints to make
and other stuff to do. i hope you found your answers in this broken record of a thread.

John, it would be a shame for your contributions the cease due to an exceptionally combatitive member who doesn't even have the courtesy to subscribe and help support the site.

If the OP has got things nailed down then fine but given how complicated thigs have become I was going to say: Why not try simple instant coffee and washing soda? Mark Antony a U.K. subscriber here has a site called Photo Utopia. Search for the Sept 2007 blog and there you'll find his article. Simply supermarket instant coffee and washing soda. Couldn't be simpler. The negs and subsequent prints look fine to me.

That's how I did my first and only one so far. I was very pleasantly surprised and plan to do more.

i'm not going anywhere dinesh
and it is unfortunate that such
a "guru/expert" won't even get a subscription to apug
to show work in the gallery
or even upload his images to the coffee-group.
in 4 years i have uploaded 400+ images, mostly
processed in coffee and have plenty to show for my methods.
