C41 Defoamer / Edwal LFN

Hello,

I'm still trying to troubleshoot (there was a url link here which no longer exists), and I've come across Tetenal Defoamer. It seems to be exactly the thing I need. Doing a little more research I've come across people suggesting dropping a few drops (1 per litre?) of LFN in the developer.
Now the defoamer seems hard to come by, but the LFN, I have already.

Does anyone have experience with c41 and LFN in the developer, or maybe in the pre-soak stage?

I've used it in the past, mainly for B&W though. The manufacturer does claim it works to defoam developer.

Were you using it in the developer at full indicated strength? I believe they recommend 2 drops per pint/500ml. It seems a bit weird for me to add something I always considered "foamy" as a de-foamer...
