C-Claron Data

Does anyone know of a good source of data (particularly image circles) for Schneider C-Claron lenses? Does anyone one have any good/bad experiences with the C-Clarons? I looked all over Schneider’s website and couldn’t find anything.

It is a "C" Claron, not the "G" Claron. The Schneider website that covers the "C" Clarons is in German but you can kinda figure out what most of the stats mean. Surprisingly it does not list all the C-Clarons they have produced. I think Ole is correct in that they were copier lenses. I was hoping someone might have had some practical experience working with them on Large Format. They seem pretty heavy and if the quality isn’t good enough than (i.e. sharpness and coverage) than I guess that’s why photographers mostly use the G-Clarons.

LG, the big problem with using C-Clarons is that they have fixed apertures and are hard to put in shutter. A free lens in barrel that has to be adapted to shutter is often more expensive, ready-to-shoot, than a similar used lens already in shutter.
