Hi to all, it would seem that the concensus for C-41 predictability is to use separate bleach and fix as opposed to blix. Great, but since the apparent demise of the smaller volume kits from all sources in Australia, and the difficulty in getting the bleach component, how does the following sound?
Use the Kodak C-41 developer and starter components ( available ), use an E-6 bleach ( possibly needs some other additive to get it going, I'm not sure, but also available ) and then a fix of some sort, possibly a B&W one or similar formula to those published on this forum. Stabilizer is not a problem.
I use a Jobo ATL-1000 with one shot processing, so volumes are fairly small. Any feedback on the dilemma would be appreciated. It seems that the flex-3 developer stuff is no londer available in Australia, so a starter is needed for the developer.
