Hello,
Wondering if anyone has faced a similar problem? Spilled some c-41 rapid bleach on the bathroom floor, didn't notice it right away, sat for a bit. Came back to a big greenish stain.
I've tried using baking soda paste, concentrated acetic acid, and just recently a 1:2 solution of bleach. Has anyone had success getting c-41 bleach stains out of vinyl flooring?
Exactly the same situation happened to me.
This is a really damned situation.
It caused me great embarrassment.
And I did everything and left nothing until I poured raw sulfuric acid.
All attempts were not able to completely remove these stains, only 40% succeeded.
And the rest of the spots that disappear with time,
I think it was completely gone after 4 months.
I would be very careful using any acid on your vinyl floor.
I have had C41 bleach stains on floor tiles and I could never remove the stain.
I know it's too late now but the simplest solution is to mop any spill immediately and wash with water.
Hard PVC is one of the major material used for anorganic chemicals. And about the same can be said for plasticised PVC, so ad hoc I do not see an issue with an acid.
The problem however with organic dyes is that that they can migrate into plasticised PVC. And something of this kind happened here. I do not see a remedy.
