Hey everyone, could I possibly use the C-41 bleach and fix with an RA-4 developer for enlarging or is RA-4 bleach and fix different to the RA-4?

Thank you

I believe I have tried this in the past and it works but you don't need to use them full strength; dilute each (bleach and fixer) 1:1 with water since paper emulsions are thinner than film emulsions.

My RA-4 fixer component went bad so I tried C-41 bleach and fix. It worked. But since the RA-4 bleach component was still OK, I now use RA-4 bleach + BW fixer and that works too.

RA-4 can handle relatively very weak BLIXes. A formula book shows a BLIX formula for C-41, then goes on "dilute this 1+1 to use for RA-4". Therefore anything C-41 or E-6 will likely work for RA-4, even diluted 1+1.
