If it were fresh E100G, I'd pay $2.50 per sheet...maybe as much as #3.25 per if I had a specific project in mind.
Let me short ask, because I am not so much up to date with 4x5 development :
What is the pricing you actualy pay for development. (per single 4x5 E6 sheed) commercial lab/home development. Have you calculated it?

with regards

PS : nearly the same as to a single 35mm E6 film I remember from the past but it has changed..!

Commercial generally between €5 and €10 per 4x5 sheet C41 or E6.

To get rid of my E6 film stock I'll probably explore home-made chemistry. Costs will be significantly below €1 per roll or 1-4 sheets. Nice for the sake of the experiment.

I would pay one dollar or slightly more per sheet if there was still a reasonably priced way to direct print it. But there isn't.

I have not used any color 4x5 film in quite a while. When I did use E6 in 4x5, I would pay a lab anywhere from $2.50 to $4.00 per sheet for developing.
I stopped using color film when the few local prolabs that I used closed.
Now I mainly use B&W and develop it myself at home. I do use a little bit of color roll film now and then but just for family snap shot type stuff...and I take it to the local camera store for D&P.

Portra 4x5 at B&H is $33.95 for ten sheets. Portra 400 4x5 is $49.95 for ten sheets. Ektachrome will not be cheaper. It is likely to be more expensive.
Sorry faberryman because I replyed/quoted onto the wrong post ( my own??? ).

PS : I am sure you will understand the question in concern we discussed Ektachrome Sheed film pricing ( When Ektachrome will apeare on the szeene ) a little better?
