I spent last 48 hours on researching color correction technology at Cinema. I think Cinema is faraway ahead of photography of today. They invest lots of time per frames look, feel, color, film, correction, light, make up, decor, dress, actor, actress, casting, music, camera, lens , camera movements, light movements and what not.
I think new idea is this , they select negative film and transfer film for solving completely and harmonically all above problems. And other trick is to play with lights when exposing negative on to transfer film.
It reminded me , buying many cheap fuji and kodak films and transfer one negative to other negative for positive ready to scan result. Just like as they did.
With playing first and second films exposes , playing with colors of light and power of light for contact print , playing with development , we could create lots of problems and their solutions.
Or imagine , contact printing one slide to other and playing with all above variables.
