BW Shortends - 8 and 16mm

Who has the experience, please? ( how good/bad can it go....)))
Anyone got them (expired but unexposed) to offer?

10 to 15 years ago there was a great market here for short ends, I bought a lot of 35mm Kodak Vision 3 stock that way and was always pleased with the results. But even then B&W was rare. Short ends in 16mm were not plentiful. I don’t think there is the possibility of 8mm short ends, a reel is only 25ft long.

I've seen "short ends" of super 8 Ektachrome and Vision 3 stock on eBay recently....but I assume you'd need a reloadable super 8 cartridge to use them....
