This is the description of one lens from Japan on Ebay. The seller sells it as an EXCELLENT... Do you agree?

First question - how rare is the lens ?

Next - How good is the price ? And how easy would it be to clean?

I bought a Leica lens with black stuff in it, I took a gamble and it was just the black reflection paint had pealed off, unscrewed the front group and brushed it out....good as new

Basically if you are unsure and don't like to gamble buy one from KEH you can be more sure that it is good

I'm in Ireland, have bought a few things from Japan, been pretty happy with them given the descriptions. You will get stung for VAT though. Last thing I bought, which was a month ago or so, came in under €150 so I avoided excise but the VAT was 23%. Used to be pretty easy to not pay this stuff, as an Post used to refuse to act as a customs collection agent, but they tightened that up about 5 years ago or so. On the other hand, sterling is collapsing in value due to brexit, so that's something :-D
