Buying Chemiclas

Interesting, in terms of pool use, what does it do?

Hypo. Very likely the penta-hydrate, loaded with H2O.
One term used is DeChlor. That is what it does, reduces
the water's chlorine content. BTW, buy the anhydrous
if not already. Save on shipping. Dan

Always keep some sodium or potassium sulfite on hand. If you feel the need of it in any of my concentrated developers, you can add it when you dilute it. Add to your list www.chemistrystore.com. There you can get propylene glycol, triethanolamine (TEA), ascorbic acid, sodium sulfite, carbonate, etc.

For developers: ... Glycine ....

Watch out for the spelling. Glycin is the photographic chemical and glycine is something else, but definitly is not a photographic developer. If there's a e at the end of "Glycin" don't use it.

The two spellings are often confused.

Dead Link Removed tells of the distinction between the two.

Trader Joe's Vitamin C

One of the great things about California and a few blessed locations. When I moved back to CO, I really missed it, and still do. Last time I was in CA I bought $200 worth of food and beverage at TJ's.

I mix all of my Vitamin developers with Trader Joe's Vitamin C. Works great.
