Hi... I searched the archives and found Punto foto in Milano, but still have questions. I'll be spending a month around Lago Maggiore (near Luino) and will be shooting 120 and 35mm film, b&w and color. Does anyone know where I can buy 120 film there and, more importantly, where I can have 120 roll film processed?

The nearest large town is Varese and nearest big city is Milano. Also, Locarno, Lugano and Bellinzona (Switzerland) are not far from where I'll be staying.

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Can't help in your quest to find film or processing, but I was there for a couple of weeks diving in the Vercasca (Switzerland) a couple of years ago. We spent three or four days down around Lago Maggiore, Lago Lugano, Porlezza etc. - it's very, very picturesque!

Expect to shoot lots and lots of film! Because I was there predominantly to dive (hence enough to worry about, flying with all the kit) I was shooting only d**i**l - one less thing to worry about, and I could also then take the underwater housing with me!!

Thanks Jim. I've spent time around Lago Maggiore and in Ticino before... your right, the photo possibilities are endless in quantity and variety!

I think that for film and processing you can find something only in Milan: for processing you can try http://www.studiofahrenheit.it/en, email them for prices and how many days you must wait for processing.

Thanks chromemax! I corresponded with Studio Fahrenheit and they will be able to process film for me. Prices for processing are quite reasonable. They responded very rapidly and are also going to help with buying film there as well (through Punto Foto).

Your suggestion was VERY helpful! Grazie mille!
