I am pleased to announce that Burley Camera of Hythe, Kent, in the UK is now stocking J Lane Dry Plates! Burley Camera specializes in antique film and plate cameras, making dry plates the perfect match for photography the old school way.

Burley Cameras is initially stocking traditional British Dry Plate Sizes of Whole Plate, Half Plate, Quarter Plate, and 6th Plate for both lines of plates: The ASA 2 J Lane Dry Plates and Orthochromatic ASA 25 J Lane Speed Plates. The Half Plate size they are stocking are 4 3/4" x 6 1/2" (If you shoot half plate format, you probably know there were 3 different sizes during that era). Feed your dry plate camera! I just bought a few boxes from them! I'm trying to use your plates to make positive contact prints, but haven't achieved the super clear glass I need in the highlights yet. I've adjusted some curves but am working about losing detail. May be developer and devo time as well. I have some Iflord ID-11 I'm going to try tonight with a longer devo time. Kodak HC 110 has been tough to get a hold of in the UK lately. If I can get the results I want and be able to repeat them I'll likely be in contact about custom sizes for the rest of my series.

Keep up the great work, my first experience with the plates was way beyond my expectations!
