Bummed. Is any 4x5 color instant available?

I was bouncing around on Youtube a few days ago and found a bit about a guy in New York who would walk around using his pressman to snap quick shots of people on instant film. I work in a middle school (Selfie Central) I thought it would be fun to dust off my bush pressman, get the polaroid holder, slap on a fedora and take some photos of the kids and give them "real pictures". Just for fun. I haven't had one of my big cameras in school for many many years.

Now I can't find any film. Does any exist that will work with the polaroid land holder? My searching yielded nothing available. Maybe I missed something?

There might be some New55 that someone has left in stock, but to my knowledge anything else like Fuji FP100c45 has been gone for quite some time.

There's still quite a bit of standard FP100c left... B&H still had it in stock as of a few weeks ago. It was about $28/pack. It was discontinued in 2016, but one last shipment was sent.

That and a 600se could provide the same lesson.

The last of the New55 production is for sale by one of the owners of New55: Dead Link Removed

All of the Fuji FP100b45, FP500b45, FP3000b45 and FP100c45 is long gone and goes for crazy prices on auction sites. Same for the Polaroid 4x5 pack and sheet film. Your best bet, if you really want to take a few shots, is to look for a reasonably priced box of Polaroid 52 or 54 on Ebay. If you're patient you might get a box of 20 sheets for $40-$50, and if you're lucky that box will actually work. If the expiration is before 2006 I wouldn't bother. The latest expiration dates were 2009.

That is what I thought. If i could just figure out how to use the instax 2x3 film in my pressman....

The best instant film today is Instax, but only Instax wide is decently large enough. Unfortunately, the Instax Wide cameras are large and have minimal controls.

Next are old Polaroid cameras with the new Polaroid Originals (formerly Impossible) film.

I have a Polaroid rollfilm camera that Nate at Instant Options converted to the 600se system and an instax wide back for it. To me that was the best way to get manual control of instax.

Went and borrowed a instax wide camera so we could 'develop' and cut out an insert in an old exposed 4x5 neg, inserted the wide instax there, into the film holder in a black bag. Did this for several film holders, and went shooting and had a blast. So we like to do it again, so where keeping an eye out for a instax wide used camera.

Still some Fuji FP-100C available on the internet. I haven't shot any, so all I can contribute is that it is still available.
