Looking into getting af enlarger with a Ilford MG 500 head I was thinking what kind of buls it uses, and where I get them.
The head is a MG 500 S I belive

Depending on whether it is an early or late model, it is going to be 150W or 300W 120V halogen lamps. The difference is that the later model has metal heat shields (baffle plate) to the left and right site of the lamp units, to protect the plastic outer cover.

Hello Jesper,

Google for ELH 120V 300W or ELH 120V 150W
You can order the bulbs in Holland or Germany for about 8 euros.
I will order enough bulbs for my MG500 before some european politician prohibits the use of these "non-eco"-lamps :wink:

Thierry , just the problem actually, my old enlarger use ad 2non-eco" bulb so upgrading...
