Building make-shift darkroom

I read somewhere long ago that of the five standard perception senses in humans (no intuition sixth sense allowed!) researchers had determined that the sense of smell was by far the most effective in triggering memory recall.

That's what I've learned in psych classes.

Smelling film chemicals reminds me of my undergrad, where I had most of my darkroom experience. Mix that with the smell of a basement and it reminds me of my first darkroom experience in the 8th grade.
