Sadly, we don't have thrift stores in the UK. And photo 'classics' rarely turn up. Trouble is that there's lots of items just gathering dust because folk are ashamed of using 'obsolete kit!'

Using something out of style - wouldn't that mostly be a young person's thought though? Surely anyone shooting film knows they're already using "obsolete" equipment.

Maybe there could be a UK equivalent of KEH that specializes in buying and selling higher quality old equipment.

What, no thrift stores in the UK? But what about all these fantastic deals I constantly read about that people are finding at "boot sales," which apparently happen all over the place over there. Folks in the UK may not have thrift stores, but who needs 'em with the boot sales they have?
