Cyanotypes have been combined with Van Dyke brown prints for a long time, but the usual approach results in partial destruction of the cyanotype print as the Van Dyke is printed on top of it. In this blog entry, I explore a process that leaves both images intact and thus creates possibilities for a range of striking image hues.
