I posted a while ago on this subject and got some helpful replies but none really solved the problem which is this:
I use fresh Ilford chemicals, adhere to recommended procedures etc. I have a good safelight. The prints look great when viewed straight on. However when angled towards a light source, the blacks show a blueish, metallic effect very similar to that seen with inkjet prints. I do not see this on glossy fb prints.
Has anyone else seen this? Does anyone have any idea what's causing it. These are new, not old prints.
