Bronica D is stuck with mirror up and shutter curtain almost completely run (can see 2nd curtain has run across focal plane to bottom, but not quite as far as normal). No film loaded, winder turns freely. Shutter release was pressed after a roll of film had been run through normally (possibly cocked and then fired empty).

Any suggestion on how to get it unstuck?

Is the jam/clutch screw applicable here?
Instructions say to turn it clockwise (Model D manual also suggests simultaneously pressing lever located on camera back near the gear). The screw will turn easily about 45 degrees clockwise (up to somewhere between 2 and 3 o'clock) before meeting string resistance which I have not attempted to force past. Pressing the tongue near that gear makes no difference.

If the jam/clutch is used, how far should it turn?

Any other suggestion other than service? For example any other control point accessible in mirror chamber, on back, or under the plate on the back?

Thank You
