Hi,

My fine focus ring on the sqa wlf doesnt pop up-think its a spring issue. does anyone know of a decent fix to breathe new life inot the spring?

If the spring is still there, it's just a matter of fiddling with it until it's back in place.
Sometimes the pin through the hinge will have to be removed part way. Tweezers, jewelers pliers kinda thing.

The springs on Hasselblads, Mamiya have a "finger" that extends 90 deg. at each end, one lays against the moving flap and the other against a stationary point..

Contact Koh's Camera. They should be able to get a new spring or be able to fix your WLF for a reasonable cost.

This is one area where a repair might be economically justified. For whatever reason, the Bronica WLFs (at least those for the SQ-* series) typically sell for more than some of the bodies! And there really isn't much to them, it wouldn't surprise me if a knowledgeable technician might be able to replace a spring in a matter of minutes.

I know of Intro 2020 over there. If there's still a problem, Koh's shipping to the UK should be reasonable. They charged me only actual postage on a small package (maybe it was a padded envelope, not sure now). New York to California, $2.
