I took delivery today of a Bronica SQ Bellows. There is an S18 extension tube attached to the rear. It will not come off. Do I need to attach a camera to get the S18 to come off?

I don't have the bellows but I do have an s18 that I store on a 2x tele.
To remove you need to rotate the two lugs on the s18 until they click into the cocked position - at the green dots.
Then the release knob (small round silver one on a black slide on the side) should slide clockwise (from rear) while turning whole s18 unit in the same direction.

Quite likely the extension tube was used to provide clearance for the flash connector at front. The bellows tends to block access.

The flash connector on the camera doesn't actually work when the bellows are used. Another connector is provided on the front of the bellows unit.
